Salmon Feast

Sts’ailes Traditional Salmon Feast!

Welcoming you to the Charlie Long House – the Family have "set the table” for you.

The Charlie Family invites you to enjoy a rare glimpse into a traditional Sts’ailes Long House, and an Introduction to the culture, lands and history of the Sts’ailes. The Sts’ailes are known for their generosity and welcoming spirit, and you will enjoy a feast of the senses, as you experience a traditional cultural celebration, while immersed in the way of life of the host family, in their community, located along the Harrison River, within the beautiful Coast Mountains of southwestern BC.

Willie Charlie has been listening to the stories of his elders since childhood and is a chosen storyteller among the Sts’ailes people. Join Willie and his brother Kelsey as they accurately retell those wonderful stories and the lessons within them. Experience the spirituality of their sacred family home as they perform songs and dances passed down for generations. Traditional refreshments, including BBQ salmon and other locally sourced food, fresh bannock and Sts’ailes harvested Indian teas will be served.
